A logo is the easy part.
A brand is everything after it
Five phases, and what lands in your hands
Every phase ends with something usable, not a status update. You see real work early and often.
- 01
Phase 01 · Week 1
Understand the brand
Conversations with the people who built the business, plus a look at everything already in the wild. What the brand is trying to say, who it is saying it to, and where the current work gets in the way.
You get
- Brand discovery session
- Audit of existing assets
- Positioning and voice notes
- 02
Phase 02 · Week 1-2
Explore directions
Two or three distinct visual directions, each with a reason behind it. Type, color, mark, and texture shown in context rather than floating on a white board, so the choice is made on how it will actually be seen.
You get
- Moodboards and references
- Logo direction studies
- Type and color exploration
- 03
Phase 03 · Week 2-4
Refine and build the system
The chosen direction gets tightened into a system: logo lockups and clear space, a type scale that holds up in print and on screen, color with accessible contrast, and rules that keep it consistent as more people touch it.
You get
- Final logo suite and lockups
- Color, type, and layout system
- Brand guidelines document
- 04
Phase 04 · Ongoing
Apply it to real pieces
The system proves itself on actual collateral: print, packaging, signage, decks, social, and anything else the brand has to show up on. Files are prepped correctly, with bleeds, spot colors, and specs the printer will not call about.
You get
- Print-ready collateral
- Packaging and signage layouts
- Templates the team can reuse
- 05
Phase 05 · Delivery
Hand off the files
Every file, organized and named, in the formats each vendor and platform expects. Nothing lives on one person's laptop, and nobody has to email asking for the vector version two years later.
You get
- Full source and export files
- Vendor and print specs
- Usage guide for the team
